'Euphoria' Actor Angus Cloud Dead At 25: Reports
The "Euphoria" star's death comes after his father recently died, according to his family.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Angus Cloud, who rose to fame for his role in HBO drama "Euphoria," has died at 25, according to reports.
“It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today. As an artist, a friend, a brother and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways. Last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss," reads a statement shared by Cloud's family with media outlets.
"The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend. Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence."

Cloud rose to fame after he was cast on "Euphoria," the HBO drama that become one of the networks's most-watched shows ever after it premiered in 2019. A first-time actor, Cloud was scouted for the role of kind-hearted drug dealer Fezco while he was walking down the street in Brooklyn. He was such a fan favorite that the show's creators nixed the initial plan for Fezco to die in the first season, Variety reported.
“He has this rough, street quality about him, but he’s a very sensitive and curious and open person. Just really warm, and incredible on camera. Very charming, and told incredible, funny stories," casting director Jennifer Venditti told Variety.

With his deep voice and slow, measured speech, the Oakland-native's "Euphoria" success led him to be cast in projects such as "The Line" alongside John Malkovich and "North Hollywood" alongside Vince Vaughn.
"We hope the world remembers him for his humor, laughter and love for everyone," Cloud's family's statement continues. "We ask for privacy at this time as we are still processing this devastating loss.”
