Donald Trump's Walk of Fame Star Defaced with Swastika

Donald Trump’s political star may be rising in the polls, but his Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is taking a beating.

Images of The Donald’s star showed up on Reddit defaced with a backwards swastika Friday. By the next day, the star was cleaned.

The star is the recurrent target of ire, one Hollywood Boulevard Batman told Inside Edition. It’s not the first time the star has been vandalized, and it’s often the recipient of obscene gestures, according to the street performer.

The damage was done just days before the Iowa Caucuses and just days after Anne Frank’s stepsister likened the “racist” rhetoric of Trump to Hitler.

It’s not uncommon for stars who fall from grace to see their spot on the Walk of Fame defaced. In 2014, Bill Cosby’s star was vandalized with the word, ‘rapist.’
