Eric Fleishman, Celebrity Fitness Trainer, Dead At 53

HOLLYWOOD, CA — Celebrity fitness trainer Eric Phillip Fleishman died unexpectedly Thursday morning, a post on his official Instagram profile confirmed. He was 53.
"His wife Alysia, son, parents, and close friends/family are deeply saddened," the post read, in part. "Eric touched many lives for the better. He was a beacon of light, hope, and love."
According to his website, Fleishman's celebrity clients included boy band Big Time Rush, Ethan Suplee, Kirstie Alley, Michelle Branch, and Max Martini.

In addition to his endeavors as a personal trainer, Fleishman ran a fitness consulting business and regularly contributed to "Muscle and Fitness" magazine, for which he was a member of the advisory board.
