Landslide Causes Power Outage In Hollywood Hills

The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power reported an outage affecting 14 customers.

HOLLYWOOD HILLS, CA -- A landslide caused a transformer to explode Tuesday, knocking out power to a few customers in Hollywood Hills, according to reports from the scene.

The landslide occurred in the area of the 8400 block of West Franklin Avenue.

The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power reported an outage affecting 14 customers. It was repaired by 8 a.m.
