Nicki Minaj's Home in Hollywood Hills Burglarized

Nicki Minaj became the latest celebrity victim of burglary after thieves made off with $175,000 in valuables.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Nicki Minaj's home in the Hollywood Hills has been burglarized, Los Angeles Police announced Friday.

The thief or thieves made off with about $175,000 in jewelry and various valuables, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. She's the second celebrity victimized in Los Angeles this week. Lakers legend Derek Fisher was the victim of a burglary Monday when someone broke into his Tarzana home and stole more than $300,000 worth of jewelry.

Police are investigating the theft at Minaj's home in the 2600 block of Bowmont Drive in Hollywood Hills. However, the case is complicated because of the large window when the crime could have occurred. The theft occurred some time between Nov. 24 and Jan. 24 when Minaj was out of town, said Los Angeles police Officer Drake Madison.

No suspect description was available, Madison said.

At least Minaj is in good company. Miley Cyrus has been repeatedly burglarized and the infamous Bling Ring terrorized the rich and famous including Orlando Bloom, Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox among others.
