2020 Imperial Beach Sun & Sea Festival is being postponed

From our Imperial Beach family to yours:

It is with much reluctance that we tell everyone that the July 18, 2020 Sun & Sea Festival is being postponed. As it stands right now, all city beach events have been canceled due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Even though the Sun & Sea Festival is one of San Diego County’s most beloved events and one that Imperial Beach natives flock to every year; it would be impossible for us to keep everyone safe and we do not know when we will be able to gather as a large group.

We are hopeful, that in due time and with the measures being taken by City of Imperial Beach, State and Federal officials, and with the support from The Port of San Diego, the County and Cal Am Water, that we will be able to announce a new date later in 2020 or possibly spring of 2021.
