Cheapest Gas in or Near Imperial Beach

As of noon Wednesday, the cheapest gas west of Interstate 5 and in Imperial Beach could be found at the Arco station between Florida and 12th Streets again for $3.57, though a 0.45 surcharge must be paid if a debit card is used.

Close behind was Beach Side Station at the corner of 7th Street and Palm Avenue with a gallon of self-serve for $3.57/3.67.

The average price of gas Wednesday for San Diego County was $3.76.

That's four cents less than one week ago and 20 cents lower than one month ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

However, the average price is 65.7 cents more than one year ago. The average price has fallen 51 cents over the past 60 days.
