I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report. It's looking pretty fair out there. Overall, it's continuing to hang in that playful size range at most spots along this stretch of sand.
We have some pretty clean conditions early on, with a mixture of mainly south-southwesterly swell and some very minimal northwest windswell in the water.
That recipe is offering some racy and fairly dumpy semi-wally lines, with a few good shoulders to pick off. Most spots in Imperial Beach are seeing knee to stomach high waves, with the top south facing breaks pulling chest high waves, with maybe a few plus sets.

In the day's weather the forecast calls for a high temperature of 72 and low of 64 degrees. Expect similar conditions Saturday. 73 degree high in San Diego, 80s for inland valleys and 109 in Boreego Springs.
If you're going to grab a session, a springsuit is ideal with the water temperature averaging between a comfortable 66 and 68 degrees. Have fun out there!
