Friday Surf and Weather Report

The fun-size action continues.

I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report. Well, it looks like the fun-size surf is continuing for another day. So if you've got the day off, go grab a session.

The conditions are starting off pretty clean, with a mixture of mainly southwest swell and some lingering northwest windswell in the water.

That recipe is offering some racy sectiony lines, with some nice wedgy shoulders.  Most spots in Imperial Beach are running about knee to chest high, with the top combo breaks pulling some plus sets.

Mostly sunny skies and a high temperature of 70 in Imperial Beach, 73 degree high in San Diego, in the low to mid 80s inland and 110 degrees in Borrego Springs. 62 degrees and cloudy in Imperial Beach this evening.

If you're going to get wet, do yourself a favor and throw on a thin fullsuit with the water temperature averaging between 58 and 61 degrees.  Have fun!
