Friday Surf and Weather Report

Fun-size surf sticks around.

I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report. The fun size surf we've had all week long is with us for another day.

We have a small mixture of mainly south southwesterly swell and some pretty minor northwest windswell out there.

That means IB will see some fast sectiony lines, with a few good shoulders to pick off. Most spots in Imperial Beach are seeing knee to belly high waves, with the focal points pulling the occasional bigger one.

In today's weather the forecast calls for partly cloudy skies with a high temperature of 70 degees and a low of 62 this evening.

If you're in need of a salt water bath, throw on no more than a short sleeve fullsuit, with the water temperature hanging between 63 and 66 degrees. Good luck!
