Waking up with the waves on Friday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report. You're not going to find any sizeable surf out there, that's for sure. We're going to have to deal with the small and fairly weak stuff for now.
The conditions are looking mostly clean and glassy from the start, with a combo of mainly south southwest swell and just a tad of northwest windswell in the water.
That recipe is offering this part of the coast some soft sectiony lines, with a few fun ones on a small wave board of some sort. Most spots in Imperial Beach are running about knee to waist high with the south facing focal points picking up a few plus sets.

Friday's weather forecast calls for cloudy skies and a high temperature of 64, low of 57 this evening. Similar temperatures and weather expected in Coronado, Chula Vista and downtown San Diego. Low 70s inland, 90 in desert.
If you're going to grab a salt water bath, a thin fullsuit is more than enough with the water temperature averaging between 62 and 65 degrees. Good luck!
