Friday Surf Report and Weather Forecast
Showing some new signs of life out there. Rain likely late Friday and Saturday.

I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report. We're finally starting to see some new signs of life in the water today. Overall, most spots in this neck of the woods are showing a few playful size waves.
We have some fairly clean conditions from the start with some slowly building west-northwest swell in the water. That recipe is offering this part of the coast with some soft sectiony lines with some nice corners to pick off.
Most spots in Imperial Beach are showing knee to waist high waves with the focal points pulling some stomach high waves with maybe a plus set. You still might want to break out a log or fish depending on where you're paddling.

Weather forecast calls for partly cloudy skies with highs from 60 to 65. 70 percent chance of rain late Friday evening and throught the day Saturday.
If you're getting an early start to your weekend and you're going to grab a session, throw on the 4/3 fullsuit and maybe the booties with the water temperature at most spots hanging between 57 and 58 degrees. Have fun out there!!
