Frugal Family: Dentist Deals and Dog-Grooming Steals

Take your car in for a tune-up and keep it running smoothly so you don’t break down in the summer heat. A local tune-up shop has plenty of coupons to save you some cash.

Let Fido cool down with a shave and bath from a nearby groomer. If you have a pit bull, they’ll groom your dog for reduced price.

Summer means lots of sugary foods—sno-cones, cotton candy, ice cream and popsicles. Take your kids to the a dentist in town that’s offering a full mouth exam with X-rays for under $100.

And while you’re running around town, taking advantage of all of these practical savings, stop by a health store for a $5 sandwich or take a break at night and feast for cheap at a local restaurant.
