Got Guns? Swap 'Em For Walmart Gift Cards
County law enforcement agencies hosting gun buyback program today.

If you’ve got an unwanted gun and could use some quick and easy spending power, you’re in luck.
Law enforcement personnel will conduct a five-hour “gun exchange’’ today in Otay Mesa, trading Walmart gift cards for firearms in working condition, no questions asked.
The program, part of community efforts to decrease local gun violence, offers the shopping equivalent of $50 for handguns, $75 for standard rifles and shotguns, and $100 for assault rifles. Participants are asked to arrive with
their firearms unloaded and placed in the trunks or rear cargo areas of their vehicles. Officers will remove them.
