Imperial Beach Boulevard Shopping Center Renovation Near Complete

While the , renovations to the Marina Village Shopping Center on Imperial Beach Boulevard near 13th Street will be finished by mid-January, said Billy Charry, project manager with Cherry-Cherry LLC.

Changes include a new facade and exterior and additional outdoor seating for La Posta Market.

"We're building a patio for outside patio seating for the juice bar and restaurant we have there [inside La Posta's Market]," he said. The patio will seat 20 to 30, he said.

Six businesses operate in the shopping center, he said.

About 20 percent of the $150,000 needed to carry out the renovation came from the Imperial Beach Redevelopment Agency's Facade Improvement Program.
