Mar Vista Baseball Defeats Olympian 11-1
The Mariners varsity baseball dished out a relentless line of strike outs and runs, Wednesday against the Eagles.
Mar Vista High School ended a 9-game skid, with the Olympian Eagles taking the brunt of their wrath in an 11-1 thumping. Mar Vista Mariners' Senior Pitcher, Slater Putland, kept the Eagles guessing all afternoon, with eleven strikeouts. He also smashed a homerun double, scored 2 runs, and knocked in 4 runs. The Mariners will be home on Friday.
