Military Parent Resource Night, Coupons and Night Out Against Crime

National Night Out Against Crime

• Fight against crime! The event will feature a meet and greet with deputies who patrol your neighborhoods, services the Sheriff's Department provides, crime prevention tips, food, kids activities and more. National Night Out Against Crime will kick off at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 6 at Robert Egger Senior South Bay Recreation Center. 

• Are you a military family living in IB? Meet with other military families and learn all about the resources available for military families. Military Parent Resource Night will start at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 6 at the South Bay Union School District Office. 

• Have you always wanted to be a savvy coupon shopper? Learn all about coupons, swap coupons and ultimately use them to save lots of money. Coupon Club will meet at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 7 at the Imperial Beach Library. 

• So-Cal Rodz will host a meet up to showcase classic cars, rods and cars older than '73 to show. The meet up will start 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 7 at AutoZone on Palm Avenue. 

• Grab your picnic blankets and enjoy a movie under the stars. Summer Movies in the Park will feature the film Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted. The movie will begin 15 minutes after dusk on Friday, Aug. 9 at the Robert Egger Senior South Bay Recreation Center.
