Missing San Ysidro Man Located, Police Say
The 76-year-old turned up in Chula Vista, according to San Diego police.
SAN YSIDRO, CA — A missing 76-year-old San Ysidro man with dementia and diabetes was found Wednesday morning at a Chula Vista hospital.
Jesus Ramirez was reported missing after he walked away from his home in the 1800 block of Camino de las Sonrisas about 11 a.m. Tuesday, according to San Diego police. He has a history of wandering off, and had previously been found in National City.
Authorities located Ramirez at Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista, according to police. His condition was not immediately known.
