Monday Surf and Weather Report

It's looking pretty playful in IB waters.

I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report. Well, it's nothing solid that's for sure, but you can definitely find some playful size waves at those top south facing spots.

Pretty clean and glassy conditions from the start, with a combination of mainly new south-southwesterly energy and just a tiny dose of northwest windswell in the water.

That recipe is offering some fast and semi-wally drained out lines, with some fun pick and choose corners.  Most spots in Imperial Beach are running about knee to stomach high, with the focal points that grab the most southerly swell seeing some chest high sets.

Today's forecast calls for sunny skies, with a high temperature of 76 and low of 66 this evening.

If you're going to grab a session, well that water temperature has taken a decent dip, so throw on a thin fullsuit or short sleeve full for at least that a.m. session, with it averaging between 63 and 65 degrees.  Have fun out there!
