Monday Surf and Weather Report

Waking up with the waves on Monday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report. The playful size surf is sticking around for another day. So go grab a few while it lasts!

There's a combination of some decent south-southwest swell and some smaller northwest windswell in the water.

That means this stretch of sand has some fast sectiony lines, with plenty of fun and rippable shoulders. Most spots in Imperial Beach are seeing knee to chest high waves, with the focal points pulling some larger sets.

In today's weather forecast look for clouds early on but sunshine the rest of the day. 72 degree high during the day and 62 in the evening.

Expect similar conditions the rest of the week in Imperial Beach.

74 in San Diego today, mid-80s inland and 109 in Borrego Springs.

If you're going to get wet, well that water temperature is still staying pretty cool, so throw on a thin fullsuit for at least the morning with it averaging between 59 and 62 degrees. Have fun out there!
