Monday Surf and Weather Report

Time for a jumpstart!!

Waking up with the waves on Monday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report.  Well, it's definitely time for a jumpstart. Yep, it's looking very quiet along this stretch of coastline.

We're starting off with a mixture of some pretty weak remnant southwest swell and very little northwest windswell in the water.

That recipe is offering this neck of the woods some soft little dribblers, with a few that'll get you going on a big board of some sort. Most spots in Imperial Beach are seeing ankle to waist high waves, with the focal points pulling not much more than that.

Taking a look at the tides, at 8:21 this morning it drops to a 2.1 low and then pushes back up to a 4.6 high at 4:15 this afternoon. Sunrise at 6:17 a.m, sunset at 7:25 p.m.

In today's weather the forecast calls for sunny skies and a high temperature of 73 degrees. Low of 63 this evening.

If you're going to grab a session, a short sleeve fullsuit is the call with the water temperature averaging between 63 and 65 degrees. Good luck out there!
