Monday Surf Report and Weather Forecast
A fun size mix of energy, rain forecast through Tuesday morning.
I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report. We're seeing a pretty good amount of energy, but don't be surprised if the conditions begin to deteriorate throughout the day due to the unstable weather.
Most spots are starting off pretty clean early on. As far as the surf goes, we have mainly south-southwest swell and some small northwest energy in the water.
That recipe is providing this stretch of sand with some fast section lines, and some good shoulders to pick off. Most spots in Imperial Beach are seeing waist to chest high plus waves, with the focal points pulling shoulder high waves with some head high sets.

Scattered showers forecast through Tuesday morning in coastal zones and inland in some areas. Highs from 55 to 60 and lows from 43 to 50. South winds of 15 mph and gusts up to 25 mph.
If you're planning on paddling, you'll want to wear at least a 3/2 fullsuit and possibly the booties, with the water temperature at most spots averaging between 57 and 59 degrees. Good luck out there!!
