Waking up with the waves on Monday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report. It's time to start praying for some surf. We're looking at some pretty minimal energy up and down the coast.
Clean and glassy conditions early on, with a mixture of some minor leftover south-southwest swell and very little northwest windswell to speak of.
That means expect some fairly crumbly sectiony lines for IB, with a few fun ones on small wave board of some sort. Most spots in Imperial Beach are running about knee to thigh high, with the focal points pulling waist high waves, with a few plus sets.

Monday's weather forecast calls for sunny skies with a high temperature near 74, 76 in Chula Vista and San Diego, mid 80s to mid 90s inland and low 100s in the desert. Patchy fog this evening.
If you're itching for a salt water bath, then throw on no more than a short sleeve fullsuit, with the water temperature averaging between 63 and 66 degrees. Good luck!
