Monday Wave and Weather Report

A good amount of action out there today!

Waking up with the waves I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report. Well, if you're looking for some size... it's out there. Yep we're seeing a good amount of action along this stretch of sand. So do yourself a favor and go go grab a session!

The conditions are starting off clean and glassy early on, with a combination of some modest southwest swell, some south southwest energy and smaller northwest windswell in the water.

That recipe is providing this neck of the woods with some fast semi-walled lines, with some good bowly makeable shoulders to snag. Most spots in Imperial Beach are running about waist to shoulder high, with the top combo breaks pulling head high waves, with some overhead sets.

In today's weather, expect mostly sunny skies with a high temperature near 70 degrees and low of 62 degrees in the evening. Westerly wind between five and 10 mph and 73 percent humidity.

If you're planning on paddling, that water temperature has cooled off a bit, so you might want to throw on a short sleeve fullsuit for at least that a.m. session with it averaging between 63 and 65 degrees. Go get it!!
