I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report. Well, if you're looking for some sizeable surf, it's out there.
We're starting off with some fairly clean conditions, but don't be surprised if things begin to deteriorate sooner than later due to the storm expected to hit today.
We have a good amount of west-northwest swell in the water. That means this part of the coast can expect some fast semi-walled lines with some workable shoulders. Most spots in Imperial Beach are seeing chest to head high plus waves with the focal points pulling overhead waves with some larger sets.

Weather forecast calls for showers with wind gusts up to 25 mph. Highs from 58 to 63 and lows from 42 to 50.
If you're going to get wet, throw on a 4/3 fullsuit and maybe the booties with the water temperature at most spots averaging between 56 and 58 degrees. Good luck!
