Monday Wave Check

Some fun leftovers.

Waking up with the waves on Monday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report.  Well, if the big stuff last week was too much to handle, then get out there now and grab a session!  Yep, we're seeing some playful size surf on tap today.

The conditions are looking clean and glassy from the start with mainly a decent dose of remnant west northwest swell in the water.

That recipe is offering this neck of the woods some kinda crumbly sectiony lines with some rippable corners to pick off.  Most spots in Imperial Beach are seeing knee to stomach high waves with the focal points pulling some chest high plus sets.

Checking the tides...at 8:33 this morning the tide pushes way up to a 6.0 high which will have some spots a bit swamped early to mid-morning.  The tide then drains out to a negative 0.9 low at 3:43 this afternoon.

If you're planning on paddling, a 4/3 fullsuit and maybe the bootie will do the job with the water temperature at most spots in the area averaging between 56 and 58 degrees.  Have at it!

Today is the warmest day of the week, mostly sunny with high temperatures in the mid 60s along the coast and low 70s inland. Tonight's temperatures drop to the low 50s along the coast with mostly clear skies.
