A Chula Vista team narrowly defeated the IB Majors division team 7-6 in the Tournament of Champions Monday. Their next game is Wednesday against Southwest Little League.

On Monday the IBLL Major division Tournament of Champions team faced the Chula Vista National team.

IB Pitcher Ruben Loya held Chula Vista to two runs until the 5th inning and IB players Nico Briseno, Kai Dejong, Chritian DeLaTorre, Dylan Poland, Diego Gonzales, Danny Ortiz all got great hits to drive in six runs, but Chula Vista came from behind in the last inning to win the game 7-6.

The team's next game against Sweetwater Valley on Wednesday against Southwest Little League at 5:30 p.m.
