Photo Gallery: Surf Town Triathlon and Duathlon

The Surf Town Triathlon and Duathlon took place throughout Imperial Beach Sunday. More than 100 athletes competed.

The triathlon was a 500-meter swim, 15K bike ride and 5K run. The Duathlon was a 1,500-meter run and 15K Bike followed by a 5K run.

Though the majority of events took part on the beach, athletes rode their bikes to Naval Outlying Landing Field Imperial Beach.

More than 300 people took part in the triathlon and about 100 participated in the duathlon.

Overall best time went to Charles Karstrom of La Jolla with a 47:27 finish in the triathlon. To see how everyone fared, check the full list of triathlon results and the full list of duathlon results.
