Relay For Life Volunteers Needed to Help the American Cancer Society Finish the Fight

The American Cancer Society is seeking volunteers to help plan the upcoming Relay For Life of Imperial Beach on June 7-8, 2013 at Mar Vista High School.  From organizing teams, fundrasing, planning, to entertainment--there are dozens of different ways to get involved and help make this cancer's last century.

During Relay For Life events, teams of people camp out overnight at a local school, park or fairground and take turns walking or running around a track or path.  Each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times during the event.  Because cancer never sleeps, Relay For Life events take place overnight, up to 24 hours in duration.
