Thursday Surf and Weather Report

Not a lot on tap in the water today!

Good Thursday morning surfers, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report. Well, I wouldn't put paddling at the top of your to-do list! Yep, it's looking like another day of mostly minor energy out there.

We're seeing some pretty clean conditions with a combination of some really small south swell and some very minimal northwest windswell in the water.

That recipe is offering some little crumbly lines, with a few short corners that'll get you going on a small wave board of some sort.

Most Imperial Beach spots are running about ankle to knee high, with the focal points pulling an occasional thigh high plus set.

In today's weather the forecast calls for sunny skies with a high temperature of 77 degrees and low of 65 this evening. Wind out of the west at five to 10 mph.

If you're going to get wet, well the good news...the water temperature is really nice, so throw on a spring suit or possibly some trunks with it averaging between 66 and 68 degrees. Enjoy it!
