Thursday Surf and Weather Report

More of the same.

Good Thursday morning, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report. We're seeing more of the same out there, with just a little bit of an increase in the action.

We're starting off with a combo of mainly south-southwest swell and not a whole lot of northwest windswell out there.

That is offering some fun workable lines, and some of the sets on the walled side.  Most spots in Imperial Beach are running about knee to waist high plus, with the standout south facing breaks pulling stomach high waves, with a few plus sets.

Thursday's weather forecast predicts a slight chance of drizzle before 11 a.m. but mostly sunny the rest of the day with a high temperature of 67 during the day and low temperature of 62 in the evening.

If you're planning on paddling, well that water temperature is starting to warm back up a bit, so throw on no more than a short sleeve full with it averaging between 64 and 67 degrees. Have fun!
