Thursday Surf Report and Weather Forecast

Looking pretty sleepy out there!

I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report. Well, it's looking pretty sleepy out there today. You're not going to find much in the way of waves along this stretch of sand.

We have a mixture of a little leftover south-southwest energy and a touch of northwest swell in the water. Clean and glassy early on.

There are some fairly weak lines, with a few decent ones on the small wave gear. Most spots in Imperial Beach are seeing knee high waves, with the standout breaks pulling thigh high waves, with some waist high sets.

Sunny with a 81 degree high in IB, 62 degrees and dense fog forecast for this evening. 84 in Chula Vista, 83 in San Diego, high 90s to low 100s inland and 110+ in the desert.

If you're going to go for a paddle, throw on a thin fullsuit, with the water temperature averaging between 61 and 63 degrees. Good luck out there!
