Thursday Surf Report and Weather Forecast

Good day for groms!

Good Thursday morning, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report. Well, it's looking like a good day for the groms, cause unfortunately we're dealing with another day of minimal energy along this part of the coast.

We have some fairly clean conditions early on, with a mixture of some pretty small south-southwest swell and some minor northwest energy in the background.

That recipe is offering some pretty weak and crumbly lines, with a few that'll get you going on a fish or a log board. Most spots in Imperial Beach are running about knee to thigh high, with the standout combo breaks pulling waist high waves, with maybe a plus set if you're lucky.

Thursday's weather forecast says to expect a cloudy morning but sunny afternoon with a high temperature of 71 degrees, low of 62 degrees. 73 in Chula Vista, 75 in downtown San Diego, low to mid 80s inland and 106 in El Centro.

If you're going to grab a grovel session, then you'll need no more than a short sleeve fullsuit or even a springsuit, with the water temperature hanging between 64 and 66 degrees. Good luck!
