Thursday Surf Report and Weather Forecast
Energy in the water is backing off a little. Chance of showers Saturday evening and Sunday morning.

I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report. Well our run of fun size surf has backed down just a tad, but there are still plenty of rippable waves to be had. So, why not go grab a session at some point during the day.
We have some clean and glassy conditions from the start with a mixture of some decent west-northwest swell and some smaller southerly energy in the water.
That recipe is offering this neck of the woods with some fast workable lines with some good steep shoulders to snag. Most spots in Imperial Beach are seeing knee to chest high waves with the top breaks pulling some larger sets.

Thursday's forecast for IB calls for partly cloudy skies with highs from 62 to 67 and lows from 42 to 52 this evening. Similar weather forecast for this weekend with a slight chance of showers Saturday evening and Sunday morning.
If you're planning on paddling, a 4/3 fullsuit and maybe the booties is plenty with the water temperature at most spots averaging between 57 and 58 degrees. Have at it!
