Good Tuesday morning, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report. We're seeing a little bit of an increase in the action, but overall it's still pretty small out there.
The conditions are looking pretty clean from the start, with a combination of some minor lingering south-southwesterly swell and some leftover northwest windswell in the water.
That combination is offering this stretch of sand some kind of crumbly section lines, with a few fun shoulders to pick off. Most spots in Imperial Beach are running about knee to waist high, with the top combo breaks pulling a few plus sets.

In the day's weather the forecast calls for clouds to burn off by midday with a high temperature of 73 and a low temperature of 62 in the evening. Mid 80s to 90s in inland valleys and 107 in Borrego Springs.
Expect similar conditions for IB for the rest of the week.

If you're going to get wet, throw on no more than a springsuit for that a.m. session, with the water temperature hanging between a comfortable 65 and 68 degrees. Have fun!
