Tuesday Surf and Weather Report

Back to mostly small energy.

I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report. Well, we're basically back to the smaller stuff along this part of the coast.  However, you can still pick off a few playful waves.

It's a mixture of some leftover south-soutwest swell and some minor northwest windswell in the water.

That recipe is offering some crumbly sectiony lines, with a few fast corners to be had. Most spots in Imperial Beach are running about knee to waist high plus, with the focal points pulling belly high waves, with an occasional plus set.

In the day's weather the forecast calls for a high of 71 degrees and sunny skies after clouds burn off by midday. 74 in San Diego, high 70s to low 80s inland and 110 degrees in Borrego Springs. Low temperature of 60 degrees this evening in IB.

If you're going to grab a session, a thin fullsuit is plenty for the morning, with the water temperature averaging between 61 and 64 degrees.  Have fun!
