June 28 Surf and Weather Forecast

I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report. 

Well, our run of fun energy is backing off a bit, but we're still seeing plenty of playful size waves coming through.  So if you have a little time in between appointments today go get wet!

Conditions are looking pretty clean and glassy early on, with a continued mixture of swells in the water. We have mostly south-southwest swells and a minor amount of northwest windswell which is helping the shape out there.

That recipe is providing some fast and fairly broken-up lines, with lots of fun shoulders to pick off. Most spots in Imperial Beach are seeing knee to chest high waves, with the top combo breaks pulling a few shoulder high plus sets.

For the weather, expect partly cloudy or sunny skies in IB today with a high temperature near 70 and low near 60 in the evening with five to 10 mph winds.

If you're in need of a salt water bath, break out a short sleeve fullsuit or even a spring suit, with the water temperature averaging between a comfortable 64 and 67 degrees.  Have fun out there!
