I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report. Well, it's continuing to lose steam out there. Yep, we're seeing mostly small energy up and down the coast. So, I wouldn't make it a priority to paddle!
The conditions are starting off clean and glassy with a minor mix of leftover northwest energy and some minimal south southwest swell in the water.
That recipe is offering some drained out and dumpy lines, with a few workable corners. Things should improve a bit once that tide fills-in throughout the day. Most spots in Imperial Beach are running about knee to thigh high, with the occasional waist high plus set.

In the weather, expect mostly sunny skies and a high temperature of 73, low of 64 this evening. Wind out of the west at 10 mph.
If you're going to get wet, a short sleeve fullsuit or a spring suit will do the job, with the water temperature averaging between 63 and 65 degrees. Good luck out there!
