Tuesday Surf Report and Weather Forecast
Surf continues to drop. General advisory remains in effect for all San Diego County beaches. Partly cloudy with a high of 68 degrees Tuesday in Imperial Beach.

Good Tuesday morning surf enthusiasts, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report. Well, it looks like the latest dose of energy is continuing to back off, but there are still a few fun waves to ride.
We have some fairly clean conditions from the start, with a mixture of minor leftover south swell and some small-scale northwest energy in the water.
That recipe is offering this stretch of sand with some sorta soft sectiony lines, with a few rippable shoulders. Most spots in Imperial Beach are seeing knee to waist high plus waves, with the focal points pulling some stomach high plus sets.

A San Diego County Department of Environmental Health issued general advisory for questionable water quality remains in effect for all San Diego County beaches due to runoff following last weekend's rain. Beaches south of Seacoast Drive and near the mouth of the Tijuana River to the U.S.-Mexico border have been closed since Nov. 4. The plume tracker, which tracks the flow of the Tijuana River, and shows some traces of the water being detected as far north as Carnation Avenue.
To check current water quality, visit the San Diego Coastkeepers website, call the water quality hotline at 619-338-2073 or check-in at the lifeguard tower.

Weather forecast calls for partly cloudy skies with highs from 63 to 68 and lows from 47 to 54 this evening.
If you're going to get in the water, then you'll want to wear no less than a 3/2 fullsuit with the water temperature averaging at most spots between 59 and 61 degrees. Have fun!
