Tuesday Surf Report

Nice run of waves continue.

Good Tuesday morning surf enthusiasts, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report.  Well, if it has been awhile since you've paddled, then get out there and grab some of the action.  Yep, we're more similar size surf with maybe a bit more size.

We have some nicely groomed conditions early on with a combination of some decent northwest swell and some smaller south southwest energy in the water.

That recipe is making for some racy and fairly broken-up lines with some good steep shoulders to to snag.  Most spots in Imperial Beach are seeing waist to chest high waves with the focal points pulling some shoulder high waves with a few plus sets.

Checking the tides...at 10:15 later this morning the tide climbs way up to a 5.8 high which will have some spots pretty full and slow mid to late morning.  The tide then drains out to a negative 0.7 low at 5:30 this evening.

If you're going to grab a salt water bath, then throw on that 4/3 fullsuit and maybe the booties with the water temperature at most spots averaging between 57 and 59 degrees.  Enjoy!
