Wednesday Surf and Weather Report

Small sets linger in the water. Clouds will linger too until midday.

I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report. Well, you're not going to find any solid surf out there that's for sure!

Overall, we're seeing mainly small size energy, with a few playful waves at the top combo breaks.

Conditions are looking pretty clean from the start with a combination of mostly south-southwest swell and some minimal northwest windswell in the water.

That recipe is offering IB some fast semi-wally lines, with a few fun pick and choose corners. You can probably break out just about any board out there. Most spots in Imperial Beach are running about knee to waist high, with the focal points pulling some stomach high sets.

Today's weather forecast calls for cloudy skies until midday, a high temperature of 69 degrees and low of 60 in the evening with winds out of the west at five to 10 mph.

If you're going to grab a session, a thin fullsuit is plenty with the water temperature averaging between 62 and 64 degrees.  Good luck out there!
