Wednesday Surf Report and Weather Forecast

These waves need of a jumpstart.

I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report. It's definitely time for a jumpstart. You're not going to find much in the way of waves anywhere.

We're seeing some pretty clean conditions with a continued minor combination of mainly south-southwest swell and some little nortwest windswell in the water.

That recipe is offering this stretch of beach some broken-up crumbly lines, with a few fast corners. Most spots in Imperial Beach are seeing knee to thigh high waves, with the standout combo breaks pulling waist high waves, with not much more than that.

Wednesday's weather forecast calls for partly cloudy skies, a high temperature of 64 degrees and a low of 58. High 60s in Coronado, Chula Vista and downtown San Diego. Mid 70s for inland valleys and 96 and sunny in Borrego Springs.

If you're going to get wet, a thin fullsuit will do you right, with the water temperature averaging at most spots between 62 and 64 degrees. Good luck out there.
