Wednesday Surf Report and Weather Report

Sunny skies, but in the surf, it seems we're having trouble snapping out of the small spell!.

I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report.  Well, we can't seem to snap out of this small wave spell. So, I suggest you break out a fish or maybe even a log depending on where you're paddling.

We're looking at some semi-clean conditions, with some spots seeing some texture or light bump on the surface. Taking a look at the waves, we have the continued minor combination of south swell and very minimal northwest windswell in the water.

That recipe is offering this part of the coast some kinda soft broken-up lines, with a few workable ones. Most Imperial Beach spots are showing knee to thigh high plus waves, with the standout combo breaks pulling waist high waves, with not much more than that.

Wednesday's weather forecast calls for a partly sunny skies and a high temperature of 69 degrees. 68 degrees in Coronado, 73 in downtown San Diego and Chula Vista. Low to mid 80s inland and 100+ in the desert.

If you're in need of a salt water bath...throw on no more than a short sleeve fullsuit, with the water temperature averaging between 63 and 65 degrees. Good luck!
