Wednesday Surf Report and Weather Report

Surf picks up a bit.

I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report. Well, looks like we're seeing a bit of a pickup in the action out there. So go grab some while it lasts!

Conditions are looking pretty clean from the start with a mixture of some northwest swell and some south-southwestern energy in the water.

That recipe is offering this neck of the woods some racy sectiony lines, with some nice wedgy shoulders to pick off, but some of the sets are a little walled. Most IB spots are showing waist to shoulder high waves, with the focal points pulling some larger sets.

Wednesday's weather forecast calls for a mostly sunny skies, a high temperature of 70 and a low of 62.72 in Chula Vista, 71 in Coronado and downtown San Diego.

If you're going to grab a session, a thin fullsuit will do you right, with the water temperature staying a bit on the cool side and averaging between 62 and 65 degrees. Get out there and enjoy!
