Wednesday Surf and Weather Report

A decent dose of energy.

Waking up with the waves on Wednesday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report. Well, we're seeing more of the same with a decent dose of energy along this stretch of sand.

Those conditions are starting off mostly clean and glassy with some new steep-angled southerly swell and barely any northwest windswell out there.

That recipe is offering this area with some fast and dumpy closed out lines, with a few fun shoulders to grab. Most Imperial Beach spots are seeing knee to stomach high plus waves, with the top south facing spots pulling some chest high plus sets.

Patchy fog until midday when the sun burns through. HIgh temperature of 74 and low of 66 degrees. 78 in Chula Vista and National City, 76 in San Diego.

If you're going to get wet, well that water temperature has cooled off once again, so throw on a thin fullsuit for at least that a.m session with it hanging between 62 and 63 degrees. Good luck out there!
