I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report. Well, we're finally seeing some playful size surf out there. So get out there and grab a few, but don't be surprised if it's a little crowded out in the lineup.
We have some clean and glassy conditions from the start, with a mixture of new south swell and some small northwest windswell in the water.
That recipe is offering this part of the coast with some racy and fairly broken-up lines, with plenty of rippable shoulders. Most spots in Imperial Beach are seeing knee to chest high waves, with the top combo breaks pulling some shoulder high plus sets.

Partly cloudy with a high of 68 and low of 51 in IB Wednesday. Westerly wind of 15 mph may reach 25 mph. Similar weather in nearby Chula Vista, San Diego and Coronado.
If you're going to grab a session, a thin fullsuit will do the job with the water temperature at most spots in area averaging between 60 and 63 degrees. Have at it!
