Wednesday Surf Report and Weather Forecast
Gorgeous weather but back to mostly small stuff in the water.

I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Imperial Beach Patch surf report. Well, the run of fun surf we've had the last few days is continuing to back down. Overall, we're looking at mostly small energy along IB's stretch of sand.
We have nice and groomed conditions early on thanks to the light offshore wind, but that's likely to turn onshore as the day goes on. As far as the surf goes, we have the same mix of fading southwest swell and minor northwest energy in the water.
That is creating some crumbling sectiony lines, with some fun shoulders to pick off. Most spots in Imperial Beach are seeing knee to waist high waves, with the top combo breaks pulling a few belly high sets.

Wednesday's weather forecast calls for beautiful sunny weather. Winds from the east at 15 mph. Highs from 69 to 74 and lows from 44 to 54 this evening. Enjoy it while you can. Rain and cooler temperatures are forecast for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
If you're going to grab a session, throw on no less than a 3/2 fullsuit with the water temperature at most spots averaging between 58 and 61 degrees. Good luck!
