County leaders project billions in spending and tens of thousands of jobs, and they're pushing plans to ensure local workers, small businesses, and host communities like Inglewood capture long-term economic benefits.

BTS ARIRANG World Tour Earns Over $465 Million in Third Quarter, Tops Global Chart (magic983.com) — BTS's ARIRANG World Tour just topped the global charts, and Inglewood played a starring role with four sold-out September shows at SoFi Stadium. The tour has already grossed over $465 million in ticket sales, underscoring how major acts can pack local venues and draw huge crowds and spending into the Inglewood area.
   

5. Super El Niño: US Winter Events Most at Risk From Super Bowl to Mardi Gras (commstrader.com) — A record-strong El Niño could bring heavy winter storms to Southern California just as SoFi Stadium in Inglewood hosts the Super Bowl on February 14, 2027. While the venue's roof offers some protection, forecasters warn that intense rain, flooding, and lightning could still disrupt travel, parking, and game-day plans in and around Inglewood.
