• Sonoma County launches free curbside chipper program to reduce wildfire risk (localnewsmatters.org) — Jenner-area homeowners in unincorporated Sonoma County can now request free curbside chipping to clear vegetation and boost wildfire defensible space for the 2026 season. The county-run program offers up to two hours of service, with a second preapproved visit, and specifically includes communities from Cloverdale to Sonoma and Jenner to Kenwood.
