• Marin sewage cost dispute persists at agencies (marinij.com) — Sewer treatment costs for Kentfield and neighboring Ross Valley communities are at the center of a heated dispute between the Ross Valley Sanitary District and the Central Marin Sanitation Agency over a major rate hike and voting power on the board. Local officials argue the new, volume-only rate formula unfairly raises bills for Ross Valley customers, and a lawsuit and behind-closed-doors dispute process are already underway.
